SWIM LESSON INFORMATION
ASSESSMENTS
These take place during Week 7, week commencing Tuesday 23rd June. At the end of the swim term, your child will receive a certificate for the level they have completed. This certificate will state whether your child will repeat the same level or proceed to the next level. Children must be at least 5 years old.
PRIORITY BOOKING – Please note that we are moving to a new online booking system called ClassForKids
All future bookings/rebookings will be processed on this programme. After you complete a term of lessons, you will receive a new link with your class details for the next term of lessons within 24 hours.
To confirm your place, All bookings MUST BE CONFIRMED AND PAID IN FULL within 24 hours of receiving your rebooking link.
We offer priority rebooking during week 7, week commencing Tuesday 23rd June, to parents with children enrolled in the current term. Please Note: that once your rebooking link has expired (24 hours after receiving it) without re-booking your child into the next term of lessons, their place automatically becomes available to the public.
Please note that times/days may change after booking to facilitate the children’s swim programme. For rebooking alternative days and times, please fill out the change of day request sheet at reception on rebooking. You will be contacted by phone if your change can be accommodated. No phone call, no change!
NEW BOOKINGS for any available spaces will open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis online on Tuesday the 30th June from 8.00am
PLEASE NOTE ** YOUR CHILD MUST BE ASSESSED BY AN APEX SWIMMING INSTRUCTOR BEFORE BOOKING INTO THE LESSONS** This can be done by contacting reception on 051 445522
NB: Due to the format of lessons, we may not always be able to guarantee the same time slot every term! We will do our best to accommodate this as much as possible; however you may be asked to change your swim time to an alternative time/day.
Where classes are fewer than 5 people, the class may NOT go ahead. Therefore, you may be asked to change your swim time to an alternative time/day.
Please be aware that due to class capacities and the structure of classes, we are unable to facilitate any mid-term change of class times and days.
TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY
For both the comfort and space for children doing swim lessons and for the safety of all members, we have closed the swimming pool and health suite to PAY AS YOU GO customers and VALUE Card users between the hours of 3.15pm to 6:15pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It is a Members ONLY time during these hours.
SATURDAY
2 Lanes, fun pool, and Health Suite OPENS to MEMBERS ONLY from 10.00am. 2 Lanes, Fun pool, and Health Suite are available from 11.00am for PAYG customers and Value Card Users. The whole pool area (Main Pool, Lanes, Learner Pool, Fun Pool and Health Suite) is open for everyone from 11.45am. This is for both the comfort and space for children doing swim lessons and for the safety of all users.
Cubicles to be use on SATURDAY mornings by parents/guardians and children attending swimming lessons UNTIL 10:30AM. GROUP CHANGING ROOMS FOR SWIM CLUB ONLY until 10:30AM.
